23 months

We are coming up hard on two around here. Ella is hoot, but she is nothing less than DETERMINED to be the one steering her life. Her father likes to say this comes from me. I will own it. For the most part I love it. Correctly directed I have no doubt that her tenaciousness will take her far.

It's easy...everyone is doing it!

So, I decided to give this another go. I really like the idea of blogging as a place to document the things that are going on with my kiddos. I am not going to flatter myself into thinking our lives are THAT interesting. However, my babies are growing and changing daily, and I know I am forgetting some of their more awesome little events from moment to moment. I like to think of myself as a conventional mother. Most of my ideas are straight out of the "way my mom did it" handbook. Of course I have a few things I am determined to do differently just because I can.

To introduce us...
I am a thirty-something stay at home mother of three. I am married to Mr. Works (like a ton!). We live in Uneventful, MT. We moved here just after our son was born with Mr. Work's job. It's closer to family and that is good enough for me. MT is cold, but the south is hot and the NW is rainy, so this is good.
We are happily married. I sometimes wonder what that means. Sometimes I want to kill him, but never want to be without him either.
Our oldest will be four in June. WM is our only boy and the coolest kid I know. He is imaginative and compassionate. Our oldest daughter, EM will be two in June. She is the MOST active person I have ever met. She doesn't stay still for longer than 40 seconds unless she is asleep. She is tenacious and every makes us laugh every day. FT will be one in August. She is just a little love. And yes, if you do the math, the girls are 13 months apart. FT is sweet and tender. She is the one I want to keep a baby.
So, that is us in a grape nut.
